sick of feeling like life is passing you by?

hey, cracklin' oat.

one surefire way to stop feeling like life is passing you by is to go ahead + meet me in the middle

today is the last day of the first half of the year!

we’re in the middle, and it’s a great time to pause, take stock, and slow the roller coaster down for a bit to reflect

without intentionally taking space to ground into a moment + look back at how far you’ve come, it’s wayyyyyyy too easy to get unmoored from what’s important to you, caught up in other people’s drama, and carried away on the rapids of time

so, right now (or sometime this week, but really… why not right now lol), i invite you to look back on the last 6 months + celebrate all you’ve done —

and not just all the tasks you’ve checked off lists

please include all the ways you’ve grown, new things you’ve tried, tough times you’ve endured, fun adventures you’ve had, and any special micro moments that come to mind

it’s been quite a 6 months, and you are magic in motion (no matter what form it takes in each space + phase)

only then, after you’ve thoroughly basked in the brightness of your successes, may you also consider what balls may have dropped, what goals may have drifted further rather than approached more closely, and where you wish you had been able to do more —

not for the sake of beating yourself up for it, but to inform your path over this last half of the year

if there’s something you want to prioritize, then prioritize it!

and if there’s something that’s slowing or weighing you down, maybe it’s time to let it go

you can push it to later or wipe it off the list. but no longer holding yourself responsible to it right now can help free your heart + mind to put those boots on the ground + dance to the tune that calls most at the moment

in any event, may you approach this week in whatever way heals + inspires you — whether that means taking some vacay space away from biz entirely or hyperfocusing on passion projects in the space created by a holiday week schedule

and if you wanna set up a quarterforward spread as part of your mid-year checkpoint to keep yourself grounded in the year you’re in + better get where you wanna go, you can do that here

(as of right now, prices still reflect an additional $50 savings since one of the things i had to push was making the prettified sales page for them! lucky you, bloom 🍀)

xxoo, cc

ps: i did a pop-up yesterday at a local makers market, but i totally forgot to tell you about it! if you wanna get in on a quickie co-created card reading, message me today or tomorrow + i’ll send you a link to book one in virtually ($20)

pps: both the quarterforward spread + the quickie co-created card reading can be focused on personal or professional matters — your choice!

hey, butterscotch pop. yesterday i planned on doing a side job, but felt called to something else instead intuitive cues came by way of a shifted weather forecast + a sense of what i felt more lit up to do instead and listen — sometimes there are absolutely things we must do at certain times. intuition-driven decisionmaking isn’t about avoiding those it’s about, when there’s room (and when you can make room), allowing yourself to stop fighting your longings + start following them confidently...

hey, salty sunflower seed. listen — plans change, life happens, clients cancel calls (friends do, too) and honestly? that used to bother the fuck outta me not because i had a problem with change (i didn’t + don’t.) it just felt so damn inconsiderate, ya know? my schedule was kind of a beast, so saying YES to this thing often meant saying NO to several others (and shifting a few more around) when someone canceled even a day or two before a meeting or event, i would often feel so put out —...

hey, cilantro salad. first of all... today is juneteenth and if, like mine, your ancestry doesn't include the experience of chattel enslavement — it's not too late to do as blair imani suggested in this IG post today: take the day ON instead of the day OFF — to take action, learn more, and think about how your privilege may come from other peoples’ suffering, in the past or present here's what else was on my mind today... winsday wednesday or thursday thrillsday — in my community for...
