you don’t need help making your decisions…

hey, turkey sando.

when you choose to make decisions that honor what you want + what you love instead of defaulting to doing what other people tell you makes most sense —

it’s not THAT decision that requires the most support

it’s the sticking with it in the face of skepticism, doubt + disbelief from those who want to see you win as well as those who’d rather watch you lose

it’s being so freaking bold as to say NO THANKS to “proven” best strategies that just don’t fit

it’s being in the terrifying uncertainty when the thing they said would fail is looking like a fail

it’s giving the thing more time when every passing minute of NOT success feels like being publicly depantsed + watching it reshared all over socials

especially when you’re thinking about what kind of offer to put out there in your biz — and biz has been down, so money anxiety is up

it’s one thing to proclaim that you trust yourself at least as much as everyone else, that you gladly invite your intuition + joy to the planning party —

it’s entirely another to KEEP standing by that when the results you want + need take time

you start to feel foolish, to doubt yourself + your decisions

you become susceptible to the big promises of those best strategies that you KNOW won’t deliver for you —

either because you won’t stick with them or you’ll hate that you have to

i had a short private call with a client today, one that members of the UPRISING inner sanctum can schedule every month

sometimes we address strategy + biz decisions, others the content hits a little more personal

today we explored creating a new offer that feels fun + transformational, outside of the box + as high touch as possible without becoming unsustainable

as my client shared what mattered to her in very clearly defined terms, i encouraged her to do whatever she had to do to stay connected to + grounded in that clarity + intention while she did the work of putting the offer together

because really, THAT’s at LEAST half the battle

i talk about helping people be a weeble, not an amoeba. when you’re struggling with a decision + wading through uncertainty, the more grounded + centered in yourself + your practices you are, the easier it is to be a weeble who may wobble but won’t fall down

who returns back to center without tumbling over, without amoeba-ing out in formless indecision

the UPRISING inner sanctum is a space in which to practice + fortify the beliefs + strategies that make you strong + confident in your ability to KEEP doing what you’ve decided is best for you + the kind of business you can thrive in sustainably

no one ever said that defying norms + changing narratives would be easy

but when you’re no longer satisfied stuffing yourself in boxes that were meant to be broken down, there comes a time where you just can’t keep playing by rules that keep you dimmed in places you’re no longer content to stay

rather than run from the fight, you can rejuvenate with like hearts + minds and train in ways that keep you whole + stronger than you ever dreamt, reinforced from the inside out

it’s what we do together in the sanctum

BEHIND THE ENDEARMENT:

i made myself a deli turkey sandwich today with just turkey, cheese, mustard + mayo

on sourdough bread that was on the discounted supermarket stale-y rack when i bought it a week + a half ago

truly nothing exceptional about any of the ingredients, but somehow this sandwich was SO FREAKING GOOD

so good, in fact, that i had two lol

and if YOU were a sando, i'd have two a YOU, too 🥪🥪

hey, surprise cheese tray. i talk a lot about trusting yourself at least as much as everyone else, and listening to the wisdom within over the noise of what everyone else thinks or claims to know and i’m aware that it can be challenging, especially at first, to actually do that when you’re used to trusting other experts over your own internal knowledge + expertise, your own voice can actually be difficult to detect you might confuse your negative self-talk for the truth, or misidentify your...
